Richard Mille expands its line of watches created in collaboration with Bubba Watson, the PGA golfer and two-time Masters champion, with the introduction of two new limited edition versions of the RM 055 available exclusively in the Americas.
Like the previous timepieces in the Bubba Watson line, which includes the RM 038 Tourbillon Bubba Watson, the RM 38-01 Tourbillon G-Sensor and the RM 055 Bubba Watson, the new limited editions are crafted from extraordinarily lightweight and strong materials and boast an extreme degree of skeletonization.
The tonneau-shaped tripartite cases of the new limited editions feature NTPT Carbon top and bottom bezels, and casebands of blasted titanium. Where the White Legend is distinguished by its white inner bezel, hands, and crown protector, the Dark Legend is ink black with the shock of a red crown protector, logo and strap. Inside the case of each RM 055 beats the caliber RMUL2, a manual-winding movement that is capable of withstanding accelerations of over 5000 Gs, allowing it to perform on the wrist of a golfer with a massive drive – like Bubba Watson.
